President and Founder of Making Time Count, LLC | Certified Executive Coach | Professional Speaker | USO Board of Governors
Manny Piñeiro grew up in the Bronx and joined the U.S. Air Force as a young airman. What followed was 32 years of service that took him from the front lines to the Pentagon -- and ultimately to one of the most elite leadership positions in the entire branch.
Manny retired as Chief Master Sergeant, the second-highest enlisted rank in the Air Force, and his career is nothing short of extraordinary. As the First Sergeant Special Duty Manager, he was responsible for establishing guidance, policy, and management of more than 2,700 Regular Air Force, Air National Guard, and Air Force Reserve First Sergeants, and served as the primary advisor to the Secretary of the Air Force -- impacting nearly 600,000 airmen and their families worldwide. He also made history as the first enlisted senior non-commissioned officer selected to work for the Undersecretary of International Affairs, where he established policy and strategy to promote professional military education with host nations. He deployed in support of Operations Desert Shield/Storm, Enduring Freedom, and Iraqi Freedom.
Since retiring, Manny has channeled that same warrior ethos into the civilian world. He has delivered over 300 keynote addresses to audiences of all sizes throughout the world, and his work is centered on one core belief: leadership crosses borders -- whether you are leading a squadron in the Air Force or guiding a corporate team, it's all about building trust, fostering collaboration, and reaching for excellence.
His mission is to make every moment of your journey worth it -- and the proof is in the rooms he fills and the leaders he transforms.
